Martincic Promoted to Billing/HR Coordinator at ACHD

The Audrain County Health Department has a new Billing/HR Coordinator. Current Administrative Assistant Rebecca Martincic has been named to the position. ACHD Director of Operations Katie Swaim announced the promotion recently and says it was Martincic’s commitment to her job at ACHD that made this an easy choice for the position.

                “Rebecca has shown a strong commitment not only to helping our team here at the health department, but also to our residents through the help she offers them,” said Swaim. “We are confident those skills and interest will transfer over to her new role here at ACHD.”

                Martincic said she is grateful for the opportunity and excited to get going in her new role.

                “I am very grateful for the confidence both Katie and (ACHD Administrator) Craig Brace have placed in me,” she said. “I’m excited to expand my role here at ACHD and for the chance to help our clients with any billing questions they may have along the way. I’m also looking forward to stepping into the world of Human Resources as a part of my new duties and learning as much as I can about this new role.”

                Brace said he looks forward to working with Martincic in her new position.

                “Rebecca has always shown a strong commitment to her position here at ACHD since day one whether it is helping a resident out with answers to their questions or helping a co-worker,” he said. “I know she will bring that same level of commitment and tenacity to this position, and I congratulate her on her being chosen for this role.”

                Swaim says Martincic will remain in her current role as administrative assistant until her replacement is hired and trained before transitioning to her new role.

                “This will help ensure a smooth transition when the new person starts and, it will mean continued excellent service and care for our clients until that happens,” she explained.
