immunizations for children and adults
The Audrain County Health Department provides immunizations for both children and adults.
Requirements:
Please bring a current immunization record.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Alternatively, they may provide a signed authorization from a parent or guardian, along with an adult (18 years or older) to sign on their behalf.
There is a fee for vaccines. We accept many insurances, including United HealthCare, BCBS, Coventry, Medicaid, Medicare and many more.
Available Vaccines:
Children Vaccines such as dtap, MMR, Polio, Varicella, Rotateq, Prevnar, Menactra, HepA and HepB and HPV
Flu Vaccines available October 1st to end of Flu Seasons
Adult vaccines such as Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis), Td (tetanus, diphtheria), and Hepatitis A and B. Covid Vaccines available for those without health insurance.

Immunizations are provided by appointment only. Please contact ACHD at 573-581-1332 to schedule. Staff can provide details regarding fees.
Immunization Records:
To request records, call 573-581-1332 and ask to speak with someone about obtaining a copy.
You may also contact ACHD with the person’s name and date of birth, and we can email a copy of their records to you.
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) has announced that Missourians can now securely review, download and share their immunization records through the Docket® smartphone app and web platform. The service expands digital access for school, travel, health and personal use, streamlining how individuals manage their personal vaccination information. This marks a significant step toward data modernization efforts and enhancing access to immunization information in Missouri.
Missouri residents can now use Docket® to access personal and family immunization records on file with the Missouri Immunization Registry (ShowMeVax). Also, Docket can be used to:
View, download and share their personal immunization history.
Access records for children or individuals for whom they are a parent, legal guardian or authorized representative.
Share official immunization documentation with schools, camps, health providers and travel officials.

Create an account and complete identity verification.
Access your record, download or export as needed.
