ACHD Announces Fall 2025 Missouri Food Safety Certification Exam Dates

The Audrain County Health Department announces fall 2025 dates for the Missouri Food Safety Certification exam proctoring. This service provides local food handlers, managers, and industry professionals with a convenient option to complete state-required testing close to home. By scheduling through ACHD, participants can meet certification requirements and help ensure food safety standards are met across our community.

Why We provide Food Manager Training

Every year, foodborne illness exacts a devastating toll on American families and communities. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), contaminated food causes approximately 48 million illnesses annually—that's roughly one in six Americans falling sick from what they eat. Of these cases, 128,000 people require hospitalization, and tragically, about 3,000 individuals lose their lives to preventable food-related diseases. The ACHD provides food manager training to help protect the community’s health.

About State Food Safety Certification

The certification includes a nationally approved Food Protection Manager Certification Exam, available in English and Spanish, that is valid for 5 years. The training features interactive, engaging, and fun cartoon animation. There is a convenient online proctoring option for you to take the exam from home, and a practice test is provided.
