CANCER CENTER MOBILE MAMMOGRAM VAN

The Audrain County Health Department is proud to partner with the University of Missouri Ellis Fischel Cancer Center to bring our residents the opportunity to receive mammograms in Mexico on a regular basis. This is accomplished through a mobile clinic van from Ellis Fischel Cancer Center in Columbia. The clinic offers 3D mammography to its clients and keeps it close to home for them.

HOW TO QUALIFY:

For women aged 40-49:

Most insurance accepted. Financial assistance available to qualifying patients.

Have no insurance or a deductible too high to pay.

Meet 200 percent of poverty level.

Provide proof of income and a picture ID (preferably a driver’s license).

Women aged 50-64 needing a screening mammogram may qualify for the Show Me Healthy Women funding if they:

Provide proof of income and a picture ID (preferably driver’s license)

Have had a clinical breast cancer exam in the last one year.

KIND AND KNOWLEDGABLE STAFF

The staff that will greet you during your visit to the mammography van are fully trained in the performance of the tests and the equipment required to do those tests.
